GRACE ACQUIRES ASSETS OF GRUPO SISTIAGA

COLUMBIA, Maryland, July 22, 2007 – W.R. Grace & Co. (NYSE: GRA) today announced that it has acquired certain assets of Grupo Sistiaga S.L., located in Hernani, Spain. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Sistiaga is a supplier of coatings for aluminum containers.
