GRACE DAREX PACKAGING TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES ADDITIONS TO MANAGEMENT TEAM
CAMBRIDGE, MA, USA, Jan. 22, 2007 – Grace Darex® Packaging Technologies announced
today two key appointments within its marketing organization. Christophe Geffray
has been named Business Development Manager-Europe, and Seckin Koksal has been appointed
Marketing Manager for Grace Darex’s worldwide Closure business.
Geffray has been part of the Grace Darex team since 2000. At Grace Darex, he has
led formulation teams, and became Technical Manager in 2002. In 2004, he also assumed
responsibility for coordination with the company’s global Closure Research &
Development operations. He joined the company from Dunlop France, where he led a
Process Engineering Group.
A graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Lille, Geffray has an
MSc. from U.M.I.S.T (UK) followed by a specialization in rubber chemistry at the
IFOCA-Paris. He is currently pursuing an MBA in International Business at the ESSEC
Business School in Paris. He will continue to be based in Epernon, France, and will
work closely with brand owners in the packaging value channel as well as Grace Darex’s
industry market managers, product managers, R&D and sales leadership.
Koksal began his career at Grace in 2003, joining the company’s Marketing Leadership
Program where his assignments included assessing air barriers market feasibility
for Building Materials, developing a customer segmentation strategy for North America
Concrete Products, and managing the integration of the Midland Dexter Venezuela,
S.A. acquisition for Darex.
Prior to assuming the role of Marketing Manager-Closure, he served as Marketing
Manager for Grace Darex’s Plastic Technologies business, charged with driving innovation-based
high growth opportunities for the company. To provide continuity in this important
part of the Grace Darex organization, he will continue to manage the Plastic Technologies
development efforts.
Koksal holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a BS Industrial
Engineering from Istanbul Technical University.
